The KUAC FM 鈥淓nergy in the North鈥 episode on Aug. 19 will feature Brittany Smart, the senior advisor for defense community and research at the 久久热视频 Geophysical Institute. Smart will talk about the Alaska Defense Forum, which will take place Aug. 24-26 in Fairbanks with the theme 鈥淩eadiness in action.鈥
On Aug. 26, Declan Goldhawk, an Alaska Center for Energy and Power summer intern will discuss his research on the potential for geothermal energy in
the Anchorage area.
鈥淓nergy in the North鈥 explores the importance and opportunities that energy and power
provide to Alaska and its people.
