Explore Fairbanks
Embrace the Adventure
Fairbanks is Alaska鈥檚 second-largest city, nestled on the banks of the Chena River in the heart of Alaska. It鈥檚 a city where old quietly blends in with new.
Log cabins built in the early 20th century have become homes and businesses in this classic Alaskan community. Alaska Native traditions bring the experiences of elders and the vitality of young leaders together as they celebrate a shared past and plan for the future of their communities.
People have been finding their way to America鈥檚 farthest North city for over a hundred years now. Whether you're here to hike under the midnight sun, immerse yourself in the rich cultural and geological history of the city, or kick back in a natural hot spring beneath the aurora 鈥 there鈥檚 an adventure waiting for you in Fairbanks.
