Derek Miller
Chief of Staff
Derek Miller has served as the executive officer for the 久久热视频 of Engineering &
Mines since 2019 where he co-led strategic planning and execution efforts and advised
the Dean on fiscal strategy, operations, and organizational management. He has previously
served as the business office manager for the Institute of Northern Engineering within
CEM. Prior to that, he served as a senior business analyst in the UAF Office of Management
& Budget, assistant to the chancellor under former Chancellor Brian Rogers, and a
legislative aide in the Alaska State Legislature.
Miller is a two-time UAF alumnus and a previous ASUAF president and student regent.
He earned both a bachelor鈥檚 degree and a master鈥檚 degree in business administration
from UAF.
